The Pikes Peak Highlanders Pipes & Drums plays for a variety of events, including parades, memorials, weddings, funerals, graduations, parties, grand openings and other important events. Since we have been in existence for over 25 years as a competition and performing band, you can be assured that we will deliver a 'first class' pipe and drum experience. If you are not happy with our performance, you do not pay. It's that simple!
The Pikes Peak Highlanders Pipes and Drums also has a large number of solo pipers available for your special event. Our soloists are top players in their competitive category and have received instruction from nationally and internationally renowned pipe and drum instructors. In addition, we are the only Pipe Band in Colorado to field a Color Guard. Depending on the occasion, the Color Guard generally carries the United States, Colorado, British, Canadian, Scottish, Irish, Welsh, Jacobite (Bonnie Prince Charlie) or MIA/POW flags. They can also carry your organizations flag for a special event if enough notice is provided.
We usually receive compensation for playing at events. These funds are used to purchase uniforms, equipment and to maintain the equipment we have. As always there are exceptions to every rule, so sometimes we do perform for a reduced fee or even free, depending upon the nature of the particular event. Please note; we provide a solo piper for all individual Active Duty Military Funerals and Memorials for free.

Usually within 2 - 3 business days, we can give you an initial response. If you are wanting to book us for St. Patrick's Day (17 March) activities, we are taking bookings now for 2013 and 2014. (17 March 2012 is already booked).

Solo pipers will negotiate their cost directly with you, since each piper will determine the proper compensation for their time and expenses associated with your particular request.
